To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks
o f the Eleventh Federal Reserve D istrict:

In our circular letter o f April 22, 1955, your attention was called to
the periods during which certain Federal Reserve banks or branches would
observe Daylight Saving Time during the year 1955.
Several o f the banks and branches will revert to Standard Time beginĀ­
ning September 25, 1955, but for your information the following banks
and branches will continue to observe Daylight Saving Time until October
30, 1955:
Boston
New York
Buffalo

Philadelphia
Pittsburgh
Chicago

Until that date our time limit for the acceptance o f wire transfers to
the above offices, for completion on date o f receipt, will be one hour earlier
than shown in the time schedule effective March 28, 1955, which is part o f
our Bulletin No. 6, Dated April 1, 1954.
