To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks
in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District:
For your information, all Federal Reserve banks and branches will
observe Tuesday, November 11, Armistice Day, and Thursday, November
27, Thanksgiving Day, as holidays and will be closed on those dates.
For your further information, the following additional holidays will
be observed by Federal Reserve banks and branches during the month of
November:
November 1 (Saturday) New Orleans
All Saints Day
November 4 (Tuesday) New York
General Election Day
Buffalo
Philadelphia
Richmond
Pittsburgh
We are also advised that November 4, General Election Day, is a
legal holiday in the State of Ohio after 1 p. m. EST, and that the Federal
Reserve Bank of Cleveland and its Cincinnati Branch will be closed after
1 p. m. on that date.
We are transmitting this information to you for your guidance in
connection with transit operations and transfers of funds.
