F ederal R eserve Bank O F DALLAS Dallas, Texas, February 24, 1947 To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: For your information, the following holidays will be observed by Federal Reserve banks and branches during the month of March, 1947: March 3 (Monday) Dallas El Paso Houston San Antonio Texas Independence Day, Sunday, March 2 March 15 (Saturday) Nashville Anniversary of Birth of Andrew Jackson March 25 (Tuesday) Baltimore Maryland Day On the above dates, the offices concerned will not participate in the Interdistrict Settlement Fund clearing. Please include credits for the offices affected on each of the holidays with your credits for the following business day. For your further information, although Saturday, March. 15, Anniversary of the Birth of Andrew Jackson is a legal holiday in the State of Tennessee, we are inĀ formed that the Memphis Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis will not observe this holiday. We are advised further that Arbor Day in the State of Utah is designated by proclamation of the Governor between March 1 and April 15. Advice of the issuance of such a proclamation will be furnished promptly upon receipt.
