FEDERAL RESERVE BANK O F DALLAS Dallas, Texas, August 2, 1946 To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: Further reference is made to our circular letter of July 20, 1946, relating to the holidays which will be observed by the Federal Reserve banks and branches during the month of August, 1946. We have now been advised by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System that the Michigan Legislature has designated August 14, Victory Day, a legal holiday and that the Detroit Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago will be closed on that date.
