FEDERAL RESERVE BANK
O F DALLAS

Dallas, Texas, August 2, 1946

To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks
of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District:
Further reference is made to our circular letter of July 20,
1946, relating to the holidays which will be observed by the
Federal Reserve banks and branches during the month of
August, 1946.
We have now been advised by the Board of Governors of
the Federal Reserve System that the Michigan Legislature has
designated August 14, Victory Day, a legal holiday and that
the Detroit Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago
will be closed on that date.

Yours very truly,
R. R. GILBERT
President
