W e are today in receipt o f telegraphic advice from the Treasury Depart­
ment that the amount o f the offering o f Treasury bills to be dated January
11, 1945, and to mature April 12, 1945, should have been shown in our cir­
cular o f January 4, 1945, as $1,300,000,000 instead o f $1,200,000,000*
