TO: The Chief Operating Officer of each

SUBJECT
January - June 1999
Century Date Change Testing Schedule
DETAILS
In preparation for 1999 century date change (CDC) testing, the Federal Reserve is
pleased to release the January through June 1999 customer testing schedule. If you have not yet
made arrangements to test Funds Transfer or your other mission-critical applications, please
contact us as soon as possible to sign up. Testing is one of the most time-consuming and critical
aspects of preparing for the century date change. In order to meet your needs, please notify us at
least two weeks in advance of the application test date.
In the first quarter of 1999, we will publish Century Date Change Bulletin No. 6,
containing a test update with guidelines for the coming year. Later this quarter, we will publish
the first of a series of bulletins on business resumption plans. Please watch for these documents
or check our Web site periodically.
ENCLOSURES
To assist you in scheduling testing with us, enclosed are the testing schedule, instructions, request sign-up forms, and a postage paid envelope. The schedule also can be found on the
