Improvement in Mixed Cash Letter Availability
DETAILS
Due to improved operational e f f ic i e n c i e s and r e je c t handling
c a p a b i l i t i e s , a l l Eleventh Federal Reserve D i s t r i c t o ff ic e s are pleased to
announce improved c r e d i t a v a i l a b i l i t y on checks in mixed cash l e t t e r deposits
th a t r e je c t d u rin g high-speed processing.
C redit a v a i l a b i l i t y f o r mixed cash l e t t e r items th a t r e je c t during
high-speed processing has already been improved from a 2-day deferment to a
1-day deferment at the D allas, Houston, and San Antonio o f f ic e s . The El Paso
o f f i c e w i l l implement t h i s change in a v a i l a b i l i t y by the end o f t h i s year.
