F ederal reserve Bank of Dallas DALLAS, TE X A S 75222 Circular No. 72-101 May 18, 1972 To All Banks in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: Reference is made to our Circular Letter No. 72-91 dated May l6 , 1972, announcing the establishment of the North Texas Regional Check Processing Center which is to become operational around August 1, 1972. Some misunderstanding has developed concerning the 1119 routing symbol which has been assigned to Banks that will be served by the Center. Initially, the Regional Center will serve banks located in Dallas and Tarrant Counties with a later expansion to encompass all banks located in a 50-mile radius of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Therefore, only banks with in this defined region will be assigned the new routing symbol 1119* All banks that will be served by the Center have been contacted on an individual basis. The main intent of our circular letter was to inform banks of the change in routing symbol which applied only to North Texas Regional Check Processing Center participants. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact any of the officers supervising the checks function at the Dallas office or any of our Branch offices. Yours very truly, P. E. Coldwell, President This publication was digitized and made available by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' Historical Library (FedHistory@dal.frb.org)
