JUNE 1983 UNIFORM BANK PERFORMANCE REPORT
TO ALL MEMBER BANKS
AND OTHERS CONCERNED IN THE
ELEVENTH FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT:
The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council announced
that the June 1983 Uniform Bank Performance Report (UBPR) is ready for
distribution and sale to the public.
Attached is a copy of the press release dated October 11, 1983, and
a copy of detailed instructions for ordering UBPRs and ancillary reports. Any
questions relating to the performance reports should be directed to Marvin C.
McCoy, Extension 6657, or William C. Reddick, Jr., Extension 6652, of the Bank
Supervision and Regulation Department.
Additional copies of this circular will be furnished upon request to
the Public Affairs Department, Extension 6289.

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council
today announced
that the June 1983 Uniform Bank Performance. Report (UBPR) is now on sale to
the public. This quarterly report is designed for use by bank examiners,
financial analysts and bank managers, and permits both summary and in-depth
analysis of a commercial bank's financial performance and trends.
The June 1983 UBPR presents to the public for the first time information
on past due, nonaccrual and renegotiated loans and
lease financing
receivables.
This report also presents revised balance sheet formats,
including a new bank capital presentation, and a revised deposit presentation
that gives information on Super NOW and Money Market Deposit Accounts.
The June report also includes for the first time selected data on banks'
commitments and contingencies and information on repricing opportunities for
selected balance sheet categories for banks having at least $300 million in
assets. Data on repricing opportunities for smaller banks will be included at
a later date.
Copies of individual bank UBPRs may be obtained for $25 per report, with
quantity discounts available. UBPR User's Guides may be obtained for $2.50
each. June 1983 peer group reports and state average reports are also
available. Detailed instructions for ordering UBPRs and ancillary reports are
attached.
Each insured commercial bank will automatically receive a free copy of
its own report.
