IN THE ELEVENTH FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT:
The Board o f G overnors o f the Federal R e s e r v e S y stem has published
the first supplem ent to the July 26, 1982 lis t o f o v e r -th e -c o u n te r (OTC) sto c k s that
are subject to its margin regulations.
This supplem ent is c o n siste n t with the
Board's policy o f publishing a c o m p le te list o n c e a year and publishing supplem ents
o f additions to and d e letio n s from the list t w ic e a year.
A tta c h e d is a copy o f the Board's press r e le a s e dated O ctober 1, 1982,
and the am en dm ent to the supplem ent, e f f e c t i v e O ctober 18, 1982. Enclosed is a
copy o f the "First Supplem ent to July 26, 1982 List o f OTC Margin Stocks".

The Federal Reserve Board today p u b li s h e d a Supplement to i t s
l i s t of o v e r - t h e - c o u n t e r (OTC) s to c k s t h a t a r e s u b j e c t t o i t s margin
r e g u l a t i o n s , e f f e c t i v e October 18 , 1982.
The Supplement should be used i n c o n j u r c t i o n with the J u l y 26,
1982 L i s t of OTC Margin Stocks.
Changes t h a t have been made i n the L i s t , which
now in c lu d e s 1577 OTC s t o c k s , a r e as f o l l o w s :

The Board monitors a c t i v i t y of a l l OTC s to c k s to determine which
s to c k s meet th e requirements f o r i n c l u s i o n and c o n tin u e d i n c l u s i o n on the
L i s t o f OTC Margin S to c ks , and p e r i o d i c a l l y r e v i s e s th e L i s t .
Margin r e g u l a t i o n s g e n e r a l l y l i m i t the amount o f c r e d i t a p er so n o r
firm may o b t a i n t o buy, o r c a r r y , s e c u r i t i e s .
