F ederal reserve Bank DALLAS. TE X A S of Dallas 75222 Circular No. 81-133 July 6, 1981 MOCK BILLING CYCLES FOR PRICING OF CHECKS AND ACH SERVICES TO THE CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF ALL DEPOSITORY INSTITUTIONS IN THE ELEVENTH FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT: Beginning July 9 through July 22, 1981, the daily Reserve Account State ment furnished by this Bank will reflect a memorandum pricing charge for checks and ACH services. These pricing charges will be made on the daily Reserve Account Statement in order to accommodate a "mock" billing cycle for the weeks of July 9-15 and July 16-22. Of course, it is stressed that the actual pricing for checks and ACH services will not begin until August 1, 1981. Therefore, all checks and ACH items, which appear on the daily Reserve Account Statement during the July 9-22 mock bill ing cycle, will be denoted with an asterisk for the related mock billing charge as shown at the far right-hand portion of the statem ent. In addition, it is noted that this Bank will temporarily revert to a weekly billing cycle for each week of the two-week mock billing cycle in order to acquaint all appropriate depository institutions with the billing process for checks and ACH services. However, the preparation of the two weekly billing statem ents will not sup plant the usual monthly billing statem ent for July which ends on July 29, 1981.
