Notices of hearings on this subject were contained in our Circulars No. 7461 and No. 7488, dated September 18 and October 28, 1974, respectively. Y) BANK HOLDING COMPANIES Revised Notice of Deadline for Submitting Comments on Question Whether the Operation of a Travel Agency Should be Included Among Activities Permissible to Bank Holding Companies Notice is hereby given that the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, in response to a request for an extension of the February 18,1975 deadline for the submission of additional material related to issues raised at the January 14 hearing on the question whether bank holding companies may operate a travel agency (39 Federal Register 38423), has decided to extend the deadline until April 18, 1975. Accordingly, all parties and interested persons may submit their views in writing to be received by the Secretary no later than April 18, 1975. Written comments as they are received will be made available for inspection and copy ing in Room 1118 of the Board’s building.
