SUBSCRIPTION BOOKS TO CLOSE JUNE 29, 1943
On Cash Offering of 1 ]/2 Percent Treasury Notes of Series A-1947

To all Banking Institutions, and Others Concerned,
in the Second Federal Beserve District:

In accordance with instructions received today from the Secretary of the
Treasury, the subscription books for the current offering of $2,500,000,000, or
thereabouts, of l1/^ percent Treasury Notes of Series A-1947, dated July 12, 1943,
due September 15, 1947, will close at the close of business Tuesday, June 29, 1943.
Any subscription addressed to a Federal Reserve Bank or Branch and placed in
the mail before 12 o'clock midnight Tuesday, June 29, 1943, will be considered as
having been entered before the close of the subscription books.
