FE D E RA L R E SE R V E BANK OF NEW YORK Fiscal Agent of the United States J" C ircu la r N o . 4 5 9 0 T L A p ril 9, 1958 J CURRENT CASH OFFERING 2 % Percent Treasury Notes o f Series A-1963 Basis o f Allotment and Amount of Subscriptions To All Banking Institutions, and 0 liters Concerned, in the Second Federal Reserve District: The following statement was made public today: The Treasury today announced a 24 percent allotment on subscriptions in excess o f $25,000 for the current cash offering of $3% billion of 2% percent Treasury Notes of Series A-1963. Subscriptions for $25,000 or less will be allotted in full. Subscriptions for more than $25,000 will be allotted not less than $25,000. In addition to the amount allotted to the public, $100 million of these notes will be allotted to Government Investment Accounts. Reports received thus far from the Federal Reserve Banks show that subscriptions total about $15,730 million. Details by Federal Reserve Districts as to subscriptions and allotments will be announced when final reports are received from the Federal Reserve Banks. A lfred H ayes, President.
