The Treasury Department today announced the subscription and allotment figures with respect to
the current offering o f 2 percent Treasury Notes o f Series B-1956 for cash and in exchange for
Treasury Certificates o f Indebtedness o f Series B-1955, maturing May 17, 1955. These notes will be
dated May 17, 1955, and will mature August 15, 1956.
Subscriptions and allotments were divided among the several Federal Reserve Districts and the
Treasury as follows:
