FE D E R A L OF RESERVE N EW BANK YORK [ Circular No. 3435] LApril 18. 1949J Daylight Saving Time To all Banks and Trust Companies in the Second Federal Reserve District and Others Concerned: “Daylight saving time” will be effective in the cities of New York and Buffalo, New York, during the period from 2 a. m. on Sunday, April 24, 1949, to 2 a. m. on Sunday, September 25, 1949. During this period local time in the cities of New York and Buffalo, New York, will be one hour in advance of Eastern Standard time, and this bank will operate on such local time.
