FEDERAL RESERVE BANK O F NEW YORK Fiscal A g en t o f the U nited States No. 3 1 4 1 *1 October IS, 1946 J [Circular UNITED STATES SAVINGS BONDS Placard for Display by Issuing Agents To all Issuing Agents in the Second Federal Reserve District Qualified for Sale o f Series F Savings Bonds: E nclosed are two copies o f a placard, SBD-87, which the T reasury D epart ment has requested us to furnish to issuing agents fo r display at each point where United States Savings Bonds are sold by such agents. W hile these placards are being distributed in preparation fo r the Treasury D epartm ent’s cam paign to stimulate sales o f Savings Bonds, which w ill begin on N ovem ber 11, it is the intention o f the T reasury Departm ent that the placards be kept on display indefinitely at each location where sales are made. Tw o copies o f the placard are being mailed to each issuing agent, including all branches o f banking institutions.
