COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $300 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended September 13.
The principal net increases were $75 million in loans for construction,
$73 million in all other loans and $64 million in loans for commodity dealers.
The largest offsetting net decrease was $75 million in loans for other
public utilities.
