    <abstract>With technological innovation booming, many banks and financial service providers are increasingly adopting financial technology, or fintech, to offer easier and faster payments to consumers. But how are these organizations promoting financial inclusion? What are they doing to reach the underserved population and those not participating in the digital economy?&lt;br /&gt;In this episode of the Talk About Payments (TAP) webinar series, Dr. Sophia Anong from the University of Georgia joined the panel, which focused on how fintech can increase financial inclusion and help give the un- and underbanked access to the payments system. Also discussed were financial technologies and various financial inclusion programs that exist to help address the needs of the underserved.</abstract>
