These imbalances have created pressures for adjustment in monetary, fiscal, and commercial policy. This one-and-a-half day conference will bring together researchers and policy makers to examine the impact of intra- and inter-regional trade and financial links on economic activity and financial markets within the region and with the United States and Europe.
