This report⁠—called the Monetary Policy Report—is submitted semiannually to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and to the House Committee on Financial Services, along with testimony from the Federal Reserve Board Chair. These reports were previously often referred to as the Humphrey-Hawkins report, referring to the&nbsp;original sponsors of the 1978&nbsp;Full Employment and Balanced Growth Act&nbsp;that first mandated the report, Sen. Hubert Humphrey and Rep.
