Paul A. Volcker Papers

This collection primarily consists of Volcker's subject files, mostly created during his term as president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (1975-1979) or as chairman of the Federal Reserve (1979-1987), and his correspondence with a variety of individuals. Included are letters to and from White House staff and members of Congress, Volcker's phone logs from his term as undersecretary of the Treasury (1969-1974), and records of various activities within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
