Instructions to Owner
To be accepted for storage by the United States Government, the
motor vehicle must be in proper running order.
The procedure for registering and storing a motor vehicle is as follows:
(a) The State Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate for this
vehicle must be submitted at the Civil Control Station,
and three copies of this form (FRB- 3) will then be prepared.
(b) Two copies of this form, together with the Registration
Certificate, will be handed to the evacuee for his retention
until arrival at the designated Assembly Center. The third
copy will be retained at the Civil Control Station.
( c) The evacuee will be given an identification tag which he
will tie securely to the steering apparatus of the motor
vehicle.

(d) On arrival at the Assembly Center the evacuee will
deliver to the representative of the Federal Reserve Bank
of San Francisco the two copies of this form, the Registration Certificate, and the keys to the vehicle.

(e) The representative of the Federal Reserve Bank of San
Francisco will check all numbers on the form and if found
to be correct will acknowledge receipt of the motor vehicle
by signing one copy of the form and delivering it to the
evacuee.

If the motor vehicle described in this form is lost, damaged, or destroyed
as the result of negligence while it is in the possession or custody of the
United States, or any agency acting for it, the Congress of the United
States will be asked to take appropriate action for the benefit of the
owner.

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the undersigned has read and understands the instructions on the reverse hereof regarding the disposition of the motor vehicle described on
WCCA Form FRB-3, [to be attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein if
this Agreement is signed) which the undersigned has signed concurrently herewith.
Said instructions and those on the reverse of WCCA Form FRB- 3 are a part of this
Agreement.
The undersigned desires to dispose of the aforesaid motor vehicle according to
set forth on the reverse hereof, and requests the Federal Reserve
Alternative No.
Bank of San Francisco, as Fiscal Agent of the United States, to act accordingly. If the
accomplishment of the alternative herein selected appears to said Bank, in its sole discretion, impossible or not feasible, said Bank is authorized to make such other disposition
of said motor vehicle as it deems proper.
Said motor vehicle is delivered to said Bank at the sole risk of the undersigned, and
it is agreed that no liability or responsibility shall attach to said Bank for any act or omission in connection with the handling of said motor vehicle or disposition of the proceeds

The rate of charges is based on released valuation not

Instructions to Owner
To be accepted for storage by the United States Government, the
motor vehicle must be in proper running order.
The procedure for registering and storing a motor vehicle is as follows:
(a) The State Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate for this
vehicle must be submitted at the Civil Control Station,
and three copies of this form (FRB- 3) will then be prepared.
(b) Two copies of this form, together with the Registration
Certificate, will be handed to the evacuee for his retention
until arrival at the designated Assembly Center. The third
copy will be retained at the Civil Control Station.
( c) The evacuee will be given an identification tag which he
will tie securely to the steering apparatus of the motor
vehicle.
( d) On arrival at the Assembly Center the evacuee will
deliver to the representative of the Federal Reserve Bank
of San Francisco the two copies of this form, the Registration Certificate, and the keys to the vehicle.
(e) The representative of the Federal Reserve Bank of San
Francisco will check all numbers ~n the form and if found
to be correct will acknowledge receipt of the motor vehicle
by signing one copy of the form and delivering it to the
evacuee.

If the motor vehicle described in this form is lost, damaged, or destroyed
as the result of negligence while it is in the possession or custody of the
United States, or any agency acting for it, the Congress of the United
States will be asked to take appropriate action for the benefit of the
owner.

tions on the reverse hereof regarding the disposition of the motor vehicle described on
WCCA Form FRB, 3, [to be attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein if
this Agreement is signed) which the undersigned has signed concurrently herewith.
Said instructions and those on the reverse of WCCA Form FRB,3 are a part of this
Agreement.
The undersigned desires to dispose of the aforesaid motor vehicle according to
Alternative No. _ _ set forth on the reverse hereof, and requests the Federal Reserve
Bank of San Francisco, as Fiscal Agent of the United States, to act accordingly. If the
accomplishment of the alternative herein selected appears to said Bank, in its sole dis,
cretion, impossible or not feasible, said Bank is authorized to make such other disposition
of said motor vehicle as it deems proper.
Said motor vehicle is delivered to said Bank at the sole risk of the undersigned, and
it is agreed that no liability or responsibility shall attach to said Bank for any act or omis,
sion in connection with the handling of said motor vehicle or disposition of the proceeds
thereof.
The undersigned further agrees, upon demand, to reimburse the Federal Reserve
Bank of San Francisco, Fiscal Agent of the United States, in full for all charges and
expenses incurred in connection with the disposition of said motor vehicle, and authorizes
and instructs said Bank to deduct from the proceeds of the sale of said motor vehicle

Evacuees will not be permitted to take their motor vehicles to reception centers.
No assurance whatever can be given that evacuees will be enabled at some future time
to have the motor vehicles now owned by them returned for their individual use.
The United States Army is authorized, in its discretion, to purchase motor vehicles
from evacuees.
Prior to evacuation, motor vehicles may be stored, sold or otherwise disposed of
by the owner privately, without governmental interference or assistance.

ALTERNATIVES OF STORAGE OR SALE
The other alternatives presented to the evacuee who owns a motor
vehicle are as follows:

Instructions to Owner
To be accepted for storage by the United States Government, the
motor vehicle must be in proper running order.
The pr.ocedure for registering and storing a motor vehicle is as follows:

State Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate for this
vehicle must be submitted at the Civil Control Station,
and three copies of this form (FRB- 3) will then be prepared.

(b) Two copies of this form, together with the Registration
Certificate, will be handed to the evacuee for his retention
until arrival at the designated Assembly Center. The third
copy will be retained at the Civil Control Station.
(c) The evacuee will be given an identification tag which he
will tie securely to the steering apparatus of the motor
vehicle.

(cl) On arrival at the Assembly Center the evacuee will
deliver to the representative of the Federal Reserve Bank
of San Francisco the two copies of this form, the Registration Certificate, and the keys to the vehicle.
( e) The representative of the Federal Reserve Bank of San
Francisco will check all numbers on the form and if found
to be correct will acknowledge receipt of the motor vehicle
by signin~ one copy of the form and delivering it to the
evacuee.

If the motor vehicle described in this form is lost, damaged, or destroyed
as the result of negligence while it is in the possession or custody of the
United States, or any agency acting for it, the Congress of the United
States will be asked to take appropriate action for the benefit of the
owner.

(d} to any employee of an Insured with respect to any action brought
against said employee because of bodily injury to or death of another
employee of the same Insured injured in the course of such employment
in an accident arising out of the maintenance or use of the automobile in
the business of such Insured.

IV.

Coverage B-Property Damage Liability

Coverage C--Comprehensive-Loss of Or Damage to
the Automobile, Except by Collision Or
Upset

Coverage D-Fire, Lightning and Transportation

hereinafter called loss, caused by larceny, robbery or pilferage.
(2} Deductible Form. To pay for loss of or damage to the automobile,
hereinafter called lo , caused by larceny, robbery or pilferage, except that
$25 shall be deducted from the amount of each loss not occasioned by
the taking of the entire automobile.

Coverage :f'--Collision or Upset
(1) Deductible or Full. To pay for loss of or damage to the automobile, hereinafter called loss, caused by collision with another object or
by upset of the automobile.

(2) Convertible. To pay for loss of or damage to the automobile, hereinafter called loss, caused by collision with another object or by upset of
the automobile. Upon the occurrence of the first collision or upset which
is to be made the basis of a claim hereunder, the Insured shall pay to the
Company the convertible additional payment hereinbefore stated. This
Coverage shall not apply to damage occurring prior to such reported accident.

II.

Defense, Settlement;
Coverages A and B

Supplementary

Payments-

It is further agreed that as respects insurance afforded by this policy
under Coverages A and B the Company shall
(a} defend in his name and behalf any suit against the Insured alleging
such injury or destruction and seeking damages on account thereof, even if
such suit is groundless, false or fraudulent; but the Company shall have the
right to make such investigation, negotiation and settlement of any daim
or suit as may be deemed expedient by the Company;
(b} pay all premiums on bonds to release attachments for an amount
not in excess of the applicable limit of liability of this policy, all premiums
on appeal bonds required in any def ended suit, but without any obligation
to apply for or furnish such bonds, all costs taxed against the Insured in
any such suit, all expenses incurred by the Company, all interest accruing
after entry of judgment until the Company has paid, tendered or deposited
in court such part of such judgment as does not exceed the limit of the
Company's liability thereon, and expenses incurred by the Insured, in
the event of bodily injury, for such immediate medical and surgical relief to
others as shall be imperative at the time of accident.
The Company agrees to pay the amounts incurred under divisions (a) and
(b} of this section in addition to the applicable limit of liability of this
policy.

III.

Definition of ttinsured"-Coverages A and B

Except where stated to the contrary, the unqualified word "Insured"
wherever used in Coverages A and B and in other parts of this policy,
when applicable to such coverages, includes not only the named Insured
but also any person while using the automobile and any person or organization legally responsible for the use thereof, provided the declared and
actual use of the automobile is "pleasure and business" or "commercial",
each as defined herein, and provided further the actual use is with the
permission of the named Insured. The provisions of this paragraph do not
apply:
(a} to any person or organization with respect to bodily injury to or
death of any person who is a named Insured;
(b} to any person or organization with respect to any trailer while used
with any automobile not covered by like insurance in the Company;
(c) to any person or organization, or to any agent or employee thereof,
operating an automobile repair shop, public garage, sales agency, service
station or public parking place, with respect to any accident arising out
of the operation thereof;

Passenger

Autoniobiles-

(I} to any automobile (a) owned in full or in part by or registered in
the name of the named Insured or any member of the household thereof,
other than a private chauffeur or domestic servant employed in connection
therewith, or (b) hired as part of a frequent use of hired automobiles by
or furnished for regular use to the named Insured, a member of the
household thereof, or private chauffeur or domestic servant employed in
connection therewith; nor, with respect to such employer, to any automobile
owned in full or in part by him or registered in his name or hired by him
as part of a frequent use of hired automobiles;

loss, including damage by missiles or falling objects and glass breakage
from any cause but excluding all other loss the primary and immediate
cause of which is a collision of the automobile and any other object, an
upset of the automobile or a collision of the automobile and a vehicle to
which it is coupled.

(1) Broad' Form. To pay for loss of or damage to the automobile,

respect to the operation of any other private passenger automobile by
such named Insured or spouse or by a private chauffeur or domestic
servant in the employ of such named Insured or spouse, and with respect
to the presence of such named Insured or spouse in any ether private

To pay on behalf of the Insured all sums which the Insured shall become
obligated to pay by reason of the liability imposed upon him by law for
damages because of injury to or destruction of property, including the loss
of use thereof, caused by accident and arising out of the ownership,
maintenance or use of the automobile.

To pay for loss of or damage to the automobile, hereinafter called loss,
caused (1) by fire or lightning, (2) by smoke or smudge due to a sudden,
unusual and faulty operation of any fixed heating equipment serving the
premises in which the automobile is stored, or (3} by the stranding, sinking, burning, collision or derailment of any conveyance in or upon which
the automobile is being transported on land or on water.

Use of Other

(3) under the conditions stated in divisions (a}, (b} and (c) of paragraph III, "Definition of <Insured'".

General Average; Salvage Charges-Coverages

The Company shall also pay general average and salvage charges for
which the Insured becomes legally liable in connection with transporta.~on of the automobile.

VI.

Loss of Use by Theft (Rental Reimbursement)Coverages C and E

This provision is applicable only to private passenger automobiles not
used to carry persons for a charge and not owned and held for sale by
automobile dealers.
The Company shall reimburse the Insured for expense, not exceeding $5
for any one day nor totaling more than $150 or the actual cash value of
the automobile at time of theft, whichever is the less, necessarily incurred
for taxi or livery fares or for the rental of a substitute automobile following a theft covered hereunder of the described automobile.
Reimbursement is limited to such expense incurred during the term commencing seventy-two hou~s after such theft has been reported to the
Company and the Police and terminating, regardless of expiration of the
policy period, on the date the whereabouts of the automobile becomes
known to the Insured or the Company or on such earlier date as the
Company makes or tenders settlement for such theft.

VII.

Automatic Insurance for Newly Acquired Auto11iobiles-All Coverages

If the named Insured who is the owner of the automobile acquires
ownership of another automobile, such insurance as is afforded by this
policy applies also to such other automobile as of the date of its
delivery to him:
(a} if it replaces an automobile described in this policy, and if it may be
classified for the purpose of use stated in this policy, but only to the
extent the insurance is applicable to the replaced automobile, and
(b} if it does not replace an automobile described in this policy, and if it
is used for pleasure purposes or in the business of the named Insured as
stated in the declarations, and if the Company insures all automobiles
owned by the named Insured at the date of such delivery, but only to
the extent the insuran-:e is applicable to all such previously owned automobiles.
The Company's limit of liability in respect of automatic insurance under
Coverages C, D, E and F shall be the actual cash value of the newly
acquired automobile. The insurance afforded by this policy terminates upon
the replaced automobile at the date of such delivery. The provisions of
this paragraph do not apply:
( 1) to any loss against which the named Insured has other valid and
collectible insurance, or
(2) unless the named Insured notifies the Company (a) as respects
Coverages A and B, within ten days or (b) as respects Coverages C, D,
E and F, within thirty days following the date of delivery of such other
automobile, or

(3} except during the policy period, but if the date of delivery of
such other automobile is prior to the effective date of this policy the
insurance applies as of the effective date of this policy, or

(4) unless the named Insured pays any additional premium required
because of the application of this in urance to such ocher automobile.

VIII.

Policy Period,
All Coverages

This policy applies only to accidents which occur and to direct and
accidental losses to the property insured which are sustained during the
policy period while the automobile is within the United States of
America, Canada or Newfoundland, or while on a vessel between
ports within said territory, and is owned, maintained and used for the
purposes stated as applicable thereto in the declarations.

EXCLUSIONS
This policy does not apply:
(a) under any of the Coverages, while the automobile is used as a public
or livery conveyance, or for carrying persons for a charge, unless such
use is specifically declared and described in this policy and premium
charged therefor;
(b) under Coverage A, to bodily injury to or death of any employee of the
Insured while engaged in the business, other than domestic employment,
of the Insured or while engaged in the operation, maintenance or repair
of the automobile; or to any obligation for which the Insured may be
held liable under any workmen's compensation law;
(c) under Coverages A and B, (I) while the automobile is used for the
towing of any trailer not covered by like insurance in the Company; or
while any trailer covered by this policy is used with any automobile
owned or hired by the named Insured and not covered by like insurance
in the Company; or (2) to liability assumed by the Insured under any
contract or agreement;
(d) under Coverages A, B and F, while the automobile is operated (1) by
any person under the minimum age required to obtain a license to operate
a private passenger automobile in the state, federal district or territory,
or province in which the automobile is registered or in which the accident
occurs, whichever is lower, or (2) by any person under the age of
fourteen years;

(e) under Coverage B, to property owned by, rented to, in charge of or
transported by the Insured;

(f) to loss due to (I) conversion, embezzlement or secretion by any person in
lawful possession of the automobile under a conditional sale, mortgage, lease or similar agreement; (2) war (whether or not declared),
invasion, military, naval or usurped power, civil war, insurrection, rebellion, revolution; (3) confiscation by duly constituted governmental or
civil authorities; ( 4) riot or civil commotion, except with respect to
Coverage C;
(g) to loss of use except by theft as provided herein nor to any damage to the
automobile which is due and confined to wear and tear, freezing, mechanical breakdowns or electrical breakages or failures, unless such damage
follows and is the result of other loss or damage which is covered
hereunder;
(h) to loss of or dam<i. J\ to (I) robes, wearing apparel or other personal
property or effects-c~~ted in or upon the automobile, unless specifically
covered by endorsement, or (2) tires, unless damaged by fire or stolen or
unless loss or damage thereto be coincident with other loss or damage
which is covered hereunder, or (3) the insured property due directly or
indirectly to the failure of the Insured to protect such property following damage thereto whether or not such damage is covered hereunder;
(i) while the automobile is subject to any lien, mortgage or other encumbrance not specifically declared and described in this policy.

CONDITIONS

The following Conditions, 1 to 7 inclusive, apply to all
Coverages:
1. Automobile Except where specifically stated to the contrary, the
word ..automobile" wherever used in this policy shall

mean the motor vehicle, trailer or semi-trailer described
herein; and shall include, under Coverages A and B, a trailer other than a
trailer home, while used exclusively for personal, pleasure or family purposes,
other than business purposes, with any private passenger automobile insured
hereunder; and shall include, under Coverages C, D, E and F, its automotive
equipment and also ocher equipment permanently attached thereto. When
two or more automobiles are insured hereunder, whether coupled or not, the
deductible provisions and other terms of this policy shall apply separately to
each but as respects limits of bodily injury liability and property damage
liability a motor vehicle and a trailer or trailers attached thereto shall be held to
be one automobile.

request. The Insured shall not, except at his own cost, voluntarily make any
paymer.rt, assume any obligation or incur any expense oth~r than. for such
immediate medical and surgical relief to others as shall be imperative at the
time of accident.
3.

Other Insurance If the Insured has other insurance against a loss

as practicable after cancellation becomes effective. The Company's check or the
check of its representative mailed or delivered as aforesaid shall be a sufficient tender of any refund of premium due to the named Insured.

The following Conditions, 8 to 12 inclusive, apply to Coverages A and B:

also reasonably obtainable information respecting the time, place and circumstances of the accident, the names and addresses of the injured and of available witnesses.

the written portion of the declarations by endorsement issued to form a part
hereof signed by an authorized Company representative.
6.

Assignment

No assignment of interest under this policy shall bind
the Company until its consent is endorsed hereon; if,
however, the named Insured shall die or be adjudged bankrupt or insolvent
within the policy period, this policy, unless cancelled, shall, if written notice
be given to the Company within thirty days after the date of such death or
adjudication, cover (a) the named Insured's legal representative as the named
Insured, and (b) subject otherwise to the provisions of paragraph III,
"Definition of 'Insured'", any person having proper temporary custody of the
automobile as an Insured, until the appointment and qualification of such
legal repre~entative, but in no event for a period of more than thirty days
after the date of such death or adjudication.
7.

Cancellation

This policy may be cancelled by the named Insured by
mailiag written notice to the Company stating when
thereafter such cancellation shall be effective. This policy may be cancelled by
the Company by mailin~ written notice to the named Insured at the address
shown in this policy stating when not less than five days thereafter such
cancellation shall be effective. The mailing of notice as aforesaid ,hall be sufficient proof of notice and the insurance under this policy shall end on the
effective date and hour of cancellation stated in the notice. Delivery of such
written notice either by the named Insured or by the Company shall be
equivalent to mailing.
If the named Insured cancels, earned premiums shall be computed in accordance with the customary short rate table. If the Company cancels, earned
premiums shall be computed pro rata. Premium adjustment may be made at
the time cancellation is effected and, if not then made, shall be made as soon

copies thereef to be made, all at such reasonable times and places as the
Company shall designate;
(e) file proof of loss with the Company within sixty days after the occurrence
of loss, unless such time is extended in writing by the Company, in the form
of a sworn statement of the Insured setting forth the interest of the Insured
and of all others in the property affected, any encumbrances thereon, the
actual cash value thereof at time of loss, the amount, place, time and cause
of such loss, the amount of rental or other expense, reimbursement for which is
provided under this policy, together with original receipts therefor, and the
description and amounts of all other insurance covering such property.
15.

Appraisal;
Waiver

If the Insured and the Company fail to agree as to the

amount of loss, each shall, on the written demand of
either, made within sixty days after receipt of proof of
loss by the Company, select a competent and disinterested appraiser, and the
appraisal shall be made at a reasonable time and place. The appraisers shall
first select a competent and disinterested umpire, and failing for fifteen days
to agree upon such umpire, then, on the request of the Insured or the
Company, such umpire shall be selected by a judge of a court of record
in the county and state in which such appraisal is pending. The appraisers
shall then appraise the loss, stating separately the actual cash value at the

time of loss and the amount of loss, and failing to agree shall submit their
differences to the umpire. An award in writing of any two shall determine the
amount of loss. The Insured and the Company shall each pay his or its chosen
appraiser and shall bear equally the other expenses of the appraisal and
umpire.
The Company shall net be held to have waived any of the terms of this
policy by any requirement, act or prooeeding on its part relating to the
appraisal or to any examination provided for in this policy.

The within goods to be deliverable upon payment of
charges on order of the owner without return or cancellation of this receipt; and subject to the lien of the Oregon
Transfer Co. for freights, storage er other charges due on
same or other goods of owner.
The rate of charges is based on released valuation not

Oregon Transfer Co., unless accepted on stipulated valuation,

Transfer Co. or claimed by the owner, except notice and

goods in warehouse on which storage charges have not been

Instructions to Owner
To be accepted for storage by the United States Government, the
motor vehicle must be in proper running order.
The procedure for registering and storing a motor vehicle is as follows:
(a) The State Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate for this
vehicle must be s':lbmitted at the Civil Control Station,
and three copies of this form (FRB- 3) :will then be prepared.
(b} Two copies of this form, together with the Registration
Certificate, will be handed to the evacuee for his retention
until arrival at the designated Assembly Center. The third
copy will be retained at the Civil Control Station.
(c) The evacuee will be given an identification tag which he
will tie securely to the steering apparatus of the motor
vehicle.
(d) On arrival at the Assembly Center the evacuee will
deliver to the representative of the Federal Reserve Bank
of San Francisco the two copies of this form, the Registration Certificate, and the keys to the vehicle.
( e) The representative of the Federal Reserve Bank of San
Francisco will check all numbers on the form and if found
to be correct will acknowledge receipt of the motor vehicle
by signing one copy of the form and delivering it to the
evacuee.

If the motor vehicle described in this form is lost, damaged, or destroyed
as the result of negligence while it is in the possession or custody of the
United States, or any agency acting for it, the Congress of the United
States will be asked to take appropriate action for the benefit of the
owner.

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the undersigned has read and understands the instructions on the reverse hereof regarding the disposition of the motor vehicle described on
WCCA Form FRB- 3, [to be attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein if
this Agreement is signed] which the undersigned has signed concurrently herewith.
Said instructions and those on the reverse of WCCA Form FRB-3 are a part of this
Agreement.
The undersigned desires to dispose of the aforesaid motor vehicle according to
Alternative No. Y set forth on the reverse hereof, and requests the Federal Reserve
Bank of San Francisco, as Fiscal Agent of the United States, to act accordingly. If the
accomplishment of the alternative herein selected appears to said Bank, in its sole discretion, impossible or not feasible, said Bank is authorized to make such other disposition
of said motor vehicle as it deems proper.
Said motor vehicle is delivered to said Bank at the sole risk of the undersigned, and
it is agreed that no liability or responsibility shall attach to said Bank for any act or omission in connection with the handling of said motor vehicle or disposition of the proceeds
thereof.
The undersigned further agrees, upon demand, to reimburse the Federal Reserve
Bank of San Francisco, Fiscal Agent of the United States, in full for all charges and
expenses incurred in connection with the disposition of said motor vehicle, and authorizes

Evacuees will not be permitted to take their motor vehicles to reception centers.
No assurance whatever can be given that evacuees will be enabled at some future time
to have the motor vehicles now owned by them returned for their individual use.
The United States Army is authorized, in its discretion, to purchase motor vehicles
from evacuees.
Prior to evacuation, motor vehicles may be stored, sold or otherwise disposed of
by the owner privately, without governmental interference or assistance.

ALTERNATIVES OF STORAGE OR SALE
The other alternatives presented to the evacuee who owns a motor
vehicle are as follows:

and acceptance of this receipt
and in fixing the rate of charges:
The within goods to be deliverable upon payment of
charges on order of the owner without return or cancellation of this receipt; and subject to the lien of the Oregon
Transfer Co. for freights, storage er other charges due on
same or other goods of owner.
The rate of charges is based on released valuation not
exceeding $__________________________________ per hundred pounds or cubic
foot, and represents the maximum liability assumed by the
Oregon Transfer Co., unless accepted on stipulated valuation,
the charges rated accordingly, and such facts noted hereon.
In filing the rate of charges on within goods, it is agreed
that they are to be held at owner's risk of loss, damage or
deterioration from causes beyond the reasonable control of
the Oregon Transfer Co., as providential or natural causes,
riot, leakage, ratage, or by fire or resulting therefrom; and
the right is reserved to store in common with goods requiring
similar conditions; to require removal of goods in advance

of statutory requirements, if any; to repile or require
removal of broken lots, or of any lots upon such reasonable
notice as may be possible under the circumstances.
The owner shall be afforded reasonable opportunity for
inspection of goods from time to time, and all instructions
relating to the care or disposition of same shall be given in
writing through the office of the Oregon Transfer Co.
(otherwise at owner's risk of error or omission), and no
change or exception conflicting with the terms hereof may
be made by any officer, agent, or employee of the Oregon
Transfer Co. or claimed by the owner, except notice and
acceptance of the same appear written or printed hereon.
All storage charges payable monthly in advance and all
goods in warehouse on which storage charges have not been
paid for a period of three months are subject to sale, as
provided by law.
