count of my recent testimony. No groups have a greater
i n t e r e s t i n stopping i n f l a t i o n than those i n t h e teaching
profession and those who l i v e on f i x e d incomes. I can
q u i t e understand and I c e r t a i n l y sympathize with t h e i r p r e dicament.
Because of your evident i n t e r e s t , I enclose a copy
of my statement before the Joint Committee on the Economic
Report. The subject i s , of course, gomplex but 1 t h i n k i t
should be evident t h a t c r e a t i n g more "and more money i s not
t h e way t o deal with the problem.
