Chairman of Federal Reserve Board,
Tashington, D.C.
Dear Sir:A news item in this morning Los Angeles Times,
states that Treasury Secretary ííorganthau is in sympathy
with your suggested special new taxes on profits from sales
of real estate and securities as a means of taxing the
speculators out of existence.
I am very much interested in your suggestion as
with out doubt this is the key to the problem of providing
jobs for everybody and also preventing future wars.
can I obtain details of your suggested plan ?

Yours very truly,

Raymond P. Hansur
