Eccles, Chairman, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Washington, D.C. Dear Brother Eccles The Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi in this City holds luncheon meetings on Friday, and since you will be here on March twentieth to deliver an address at the University, we extend you a very cordial invitation to join us at luncheon on that date. The luncheons are held at the University Club where accommodations are somewhat limited. I am sure there will be a large number of the members desiring to attend the luncheon if you can meet with us and, therefore, I will apprecĀ iate it if you will let me know in advance so that we may make arrangements.accordingly. Fraternally yours, DANIEL LAURENCE, PAST GRAND CONSUL. MP February 20, 1936. Mr. Daniel Laurence, Past Grand Consul, Sigma Chi Fraternity, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio. My dear Mr. Laurence: I have your letter of February 15th extending me an invitation to have luncheon with the Alumni ChapĀ ter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity at the University Club on March 20th. I appreciate the invitation and would like very much to be present, but I do not think it will be possible as the date is so far in the future, I do not know at this time just what my plans will be. From present indications, in case I arrive sufficiently early on that date, it may be advisable for me to meet with the officials of the Federal .Reserve Branch in Cincinnati and other bankers at luncheon. Sincerely yours, M. S. Eccles, Chairman. MSS:VS:b
