name of Mr. James K« Vardaman, jr., formerly
of wiississipp.i, now Manager of the St« Louis
iMiissouri Agency of the Reconstruction Finance
Corporation, for appointment to the vacancy
on the hoard of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board.

as to the qualifications ana fitness of Mr.
Vardaman for such an appointment and I shall
