I am wondering if you would please indicate to us whether Chairman Eccles will come to Indiana by plane or train and if so over what route, and what time we may expect him. I wish you would also let me know if Chairman Eccles would have any preference as to hotels or clubs in Indianapolis, at which place we will make reservations for him. My dear Mr. ftarrick: This reply to your letter of May 9th has been held up until I could be sure of what arrangements Chairman Eccles had made. He plans to leave here by train which will arrive at Indianapolis at 7:56 a. m. and then to return that same afternoon, leaving by train at 4:23* I understand that Governor McNutt plans to meet him on his arrival. Accordingly, he will not be in need of hotel or other reservations, but he asked me to express to you his appreciation of your very kind offer. The pressure is so heavy here that he is unable to stay longer in Indianapolis. letter.
