Kilman) former Assistant Cashier and Assistant Secretary of the Board of this Bank, to see if he might have seen the organization certificate of this Bank during his review of various files in the Archives in connection with the research which he did while he was writing the "History of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas." Mr. Kilman said that he did not see the organiza- tion certificate (or a copy of it)) that he feels sure that it was sent to the Treasury Department, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and that Charter No. II, dated November 14, 1914, authorizing this Bank to commence business, was issued on the basis of that organization certificate. cc: Mr. George F.
