Your comment:On behalf of the IAF, its members, and industry businesses that represent many
thousands of franchisee businesses in the United States. And we are requesting a small change to
extend the PPP $10 million lending limit to businesses seeking a standard 7(a) SBA loan and/or 504
loan, permanently modifying it from the current $5 million limit.
Not only will this aid in quicker recovery, but costs of business operations have increased over the
years, while the limit has been unchanged. Increasing this will help ease lenders risk to extend credit to
millions of small businesses who desperately will need to refinance their current loans.
Thank you for your efforts to ensure Small Businesses can recover and thrive during this Coronavirus
COVID-19 crisis.
