The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is the main governing body of the Federal Reserve System. It is charged with overseeing the 12 District Reserve Banks and helping to implement national monetary policy. Before enactment of the Banking Act of 1935, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System was known as the Federal Reserve Board. This collection contains documents by and about the Board, including archival documents related to important figures in its history.
