At a regularly called meeting of the Federal
Reserve Board, held in the office of the Board at 11:30
a. m. on Tuesday, September 22, 1914.
PRESENT:
Mr. McAdoo

Er. Williams

Mr. Hamlin

Mr. Warburg

Mr. Miller
Mr. Harding.

The Secretary of the Treasury presided and Mr.
H. P. Willis acted as Secretary to the meeting.
Er. George 71. Morris of Philadelphia appeared
before the Board and answered questions with regard to
the various candidates under consideration by the Board
for appointment as Class "C't directors in the Federal
Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
The Board considered and revised the letter to
be sent to the Clearing Houses with reference to the proposed gold fund.
After general discussion the meeting adjourned
at 1:00 p. m. to meet at 3:30 p. m.
