At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the
Federal Reserve board held in the office of the Governor
on Thursdny, September 20, At 3:40 P. M.,

On motion, it was voted that Mr. Strauss prepare
a letter to be transmitted to the Post Office Department
stating that it would be the view of the Donrd that no
shipments of United Stntes coin or currency shall be ,ermitted to go by mail to foreign countries.
