At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Federal lieserve Board held in the office of the Board on February 20, 1919, at 3:15 P.M., PRESENT: The Ur. Mr. Mr. Governor Miller Hamlin Broderick, Secretary. Business was presented and disposed of as follows: Letter dated February 19th from the Federal Reserve Agent at New York, requesting approval of the appointment of Mr. Shepherd J. Morgan as Assistant Federal Reserve Agent at New York at a salary of ;9,000 per annum. Referred to the Governor for report. Memorandum by General Counsel dated January 4, 1919, in re security of acceptances. Referred to Assistant General Counsel for opinion. Memorandum by General Counsel dated February 14th in re acceptances of American Foreign Banking Corporation. Referred to Assistant General Counsel for opinion. Telegram dated February 19th from Er. J. A. McCord, Federal Reserve Agent elect, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, requesting approval of the appointment of Mr. Ward Albertson as Assistant Federal Reserve Agent ,and. of Creed Taylor as General Auditor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, at -2salaries of 44,000 per annum and $3,000 per annum, respectively. Approved. Memorandum by Secretary dated February 20th, recommending approval of the expenditure by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York of ;P20 per month for leased wire service between that bank and its Buffalo Branch. Approved. Report dated February 20th, recommending approval of the application of Darwin P. Kingsley for permission to serve at the same time as director of the New York Trust Company and the Citizens National Bank, both of New York City. Approved. Report dated February 20th, recommending appointment of Miss Mary Johnson as Statistical Clerk for the business index reporting section of the Division of Analysis and Research, at the rate of 4;1,200 per annum, effective when Miss Johnson reports for duty. Approved. Memorandum dated February 20th, recommending appointment of Mrs. 0. M. Croghan as Stenographer in the office of General Counsel, at the rate of 44,500 per annum, effective upon assuming duty. Approved. Memorandum by the Secretary, dated February 20th, recommending extension to June 1st of time within which the Susquehanna Trust & Safe Deposit Company, Williamsport, Pa., may comply with conditions of membership imposed.
