War paper holdings show an i n c r e a s e f o r the week of 2 6 . 1 m i l l i o n s , other d i s counts on hand went up 21.S m i l l i o n s , and acceptances — l 6 » l m i l l i o n s .

Total war

paper holdings of the Chicago and Minneapolis banks include 93*7 m i l l i o n s of paper
discounted f o r other Federal Reserve banks, as against 50*3 m i l l i o n s the week
before, while of the t o t a l acceptance holdings of the San

Francisco bank 13-7
