To ALL BANKS, TRUST COMPANIES, SAVINGS BANKS, BANKERS, INVESTMENT DEALERS AND PRINCIPAL CORPORATIONS IN THE SECOND FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT, DEAR SIRS: The Treasury Department has announced that the issue of Treasury Certificates of Indebtedness of Series T 6, dated July 1, 1919, due September 15,1919, closed at the close of business July 2, 1919. No further subscriptions to this issue, therefore, will be accepted. Allotment of subscriptions to Series T 6 has been made in full. Until further notice, however, subscriptions will be received for the current issue of Treasury certificates of Series T 7, dated July 1, 1919, and maturing December 15, 1919. The certificates of both Series T 6 and Series T 7 are acceptable at their maturity, respectively, in payment of income and profits taxes. Yours very truly, BENT. STRONG, Governor.
