THE FEDERAL RESERVE ACT AS AMENDED To MEMBER BANKS IN THE SECOND FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT: DEAR SIRS: Since the publication some time ago of a pamphlet by the Federal Reserve Board containing the Federal Reserve Act as amended up to and including June 21, 1917, two important amendments have been enacted on September 26, 1918, and March 3, 1919, respectively. Under the direction of the Federal Reserve Board a new pamphlet has been compiled of the Federal Reserve Act as amended to March 3, 1919, with an appendix containing certain sections of other Acts of Congress which affect, directly or indirectly, the operations of Federal reserve banks and member banks. \!-*£.\ We take pleasure in transmitting a copy to you herewith, which may be substituted for any earlier copies of the Act.
