CLOSE OF SUBSCRIPTION BOOKS TO TAX CERTIFICATES.

To BANKS, BANKERS AND TRUST COMPANIES IN DISTRICT N O . 2:

The Treasury Department has notified us to-day that no further subscriptions will be
received to United States Treasury certificates of indebtedness (Series T-2) dated January 16,1919,
due June 17, 1919, which are receivable in payment of Federal income and profits taxes, after the
close of business February 24, 1919.
