DISPOSITION OF PERSONAL INCOME According to revised estimates, disposable personal income rose $71.7 biljion (annual rate) in the second quarter compared with a $10.3 billion rise in the first quarter. The wide disparity in the quarterly changes largely reflects a delay in Federal income tax refunds from the first quarter to the second quarter.
