Description:
Karl R. Bopp was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia from 1958 to 1970. Prior to his appointment as president, he was the Research Director of the Philadelphia Fed from 1942 to 1958. He was also the technical secretary for the Bretton Woods Monetary Conference in 1944 which later established the International Monetary Fund.

His papers are housed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. The FRASER collection contains his speeches, notes, and articles that were contained in the collection. Some documents subject to copyright restrictions have been withheld.
