This study was undertaken as a result of a suggestion of the Conference of Governors of the Women's Political Union to study the political position of women in the separate states. The results were compiled by Bertha Rembaugh, member of the New York Bar, with an introduction by Harriot Stanton Blatch, President of the Women's Political Union.
